Exploring/Undeclared - College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources

Undeclared Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources

This program is home to students who are exploring the 12 degree programs in the College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources (CAFNR). Our degrees impact the largest industries in the region and address the most significant challenges in our world today, including:

  • Agricultural policy, commerce, and education
  • Tourism and hospitality
  • Food nutrition, production, processing and safetyEnvironmental sustainability
  • Animal and human health

Undeclared, CAFNR students have interests in agriculture and the related life/social sciences but have not yet determined which specific degree program that they want to pursue.

Undeclared, CAFNR students are encouraged to investigate multiple options within the College and are advised by faculty and staff advisors with the goal of selecting a major before completing 60 credit hours.

Students take courses to explore degree options and meet general education requirements. Students work with their advisor and use resources to explore interests, values, and strengths in the first year.
