Business Administration (Marketing)

Students pursuing a degree in Business Administration will gain exposure to multiple areas of business including Accounting, Economics, Finance and Banking, Management, and Marketing. An emphasis in Marketing focuses on acquiring and managing customers by studying business activities that connect consumers with goods and services. The degree deals with the strategies, tactics and business processes involved in researching markets, deciding which markets and segments to pursue, identifying what unique value to provide and then assembling the products, services, people and partner firms needed to build, communicate and deliver that value. The marketing major is an exciting option for those students seeking an in-depth knowledge of the tools, concepts and practice of modern marketing. This program prepares students for a career in marketing, sales, and marketing analytics. Students are able to earn an in-degree certificate in Sales and Customer Development, Marketing Analytics, and in Digital Marketing. Courses in this area span the domains of marketing management, marketing analytics, sales, marketing communications, digital marketing, sales promotion, retail, services, brand management, and global marketing.
