Overview:
The College of Engineering offers a bachelor of science in computer engineering. This degree blends a balanced approach to both hardware and software components, as well as a focus on engineering.

A dual dgree with Electrical Engineering is an option.

Academic Information

Admission Requirements:
For Direct Freshman Admission to Engineering, the student must have an ACT-Math score of 22 or higher AND ACT-Composite score of 24 or higher OR high school rank in the upper 25 percent

For the Pre-Engineering Program (PEP) - students who do not meet the direct admission criteria - can transfer into the College of Engineering upon meeting the requirements of successful complettion of 24 hours with a 2.0 or higher, cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, and at least a grade of C in Calculus 1.

Minimum GPA for Admission: 2.0

Specifically required non-major courses for the BS degree:
Math 1500, 1700, 2300, 2320
Chemistry 1320

Entry-level courses to sample the major:
