The College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in: Economics, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing and Real Estate. Minor in Business Administration
Overview:
The BSBA degree prepares students for responsibilities in small business, corporations, government and society as a whole.
Academic Information
Admission Requirements:
Students entering the College of Business will enter as undeclared/business. While in the Lower Level, students take general education and business preparation courses. Courses which must be among the credits completed or in progress:
Accountancy 2036 (or 2136H) Accounting I (3)
Accountancy 2037 (or 2137H) Accounting II (3)
Economics 1014 (or 1024) Microeconomics (3)
Economics 1015 Macroeconomics (3)
English 1000 Exposition and Argumentation (3)
Math 1100 College Algebra (3) with a grade of C- or higher
Math 1300 Finite Mathematics (3) with a grade of C- or higher
Math 1320 Elements of Calculus (3)
Statistics 2500 Introduction to Probability and Statistics I (3) with a grade of C- or higher
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.6 to be eligible to apply to an emphasis area.
Minimum GPA for Admission: 2.6
Specifically required non-major courses for the BSBA degree: Math 1300 and 1320
OR Math 1500 with at least a grade of C
Statistics 2500 and 3500
