Overview:
The degree in Agribusiness offers the student a general business background while emphasizing applications to various types of food and agricultural businesses. Professionals in Agribusiness Management combine skills in management, finance, marketing and agriculture production in order to address questions about the production, distribution and use of the world's agricultural resources. Agribusiness managers apply economic concepts and problem-solving techniques to economic and business decisions that affect the global food supply.

Academic Information

Admission Requirements:
Students may enter the Agribusiness Management program as a new student. Transfer students can enter with a 2.5 cumulative GPA for all work attempted.

Minimum GPA for Admission: 2.5

Specifically required non-major courses for the BS degree:
Communication 1200
Chemistry 1100
Biology 1010 and 1020
Math 1300 or 1500

Entry-level courses to sample the major:
Agricultural Economics 1010 and Agricultural Economics 1011
