Overview:
Animal Sciences is a broad field centered on the study of agriculturally important animals and their products. Professionals in Animal Sciences apply the latest techniques in genetics, physiology, nutrition and growth and development to the production and care of animals. Animal Science is the foundation of many industries including: livestock production, agribusiness, animal biotechnology, veterinary medicine and captive wild animal management.
